'Temptress', Boots No7 Stay Perfect £5.50

'Blue Vogue', Rimmel Lycra PRO £4.59

With Summer well and truly ended, its now time for me to ditch all those pretty pastel and coral hues - and trade in for some more seasonal appropriate upgrades.

Oxblood was a trend seen all over the Autumn/Winter catwalks, so what better way to incorporate the vampy shade into your everyday outfit by plastering it all over your pinkies. I was drawn to No7's 'Temptress' shade after falling in love with Essie's 'Bordeaux'. However, being a student on a budget, I opted for the cheaper alternative and used my faithful £3 Boots voucher in the process, meaning I got it for a steal of £2.50.

The next shade I've tried out lately is 'Blue Vogue' by Rimmel, a deep, pigmented navy colour. I've had this colour in my cosmetic bag for over two years and only used it twice, what I was thinking, I'm not sure. This polish looks so great on, and is a nice change to the conventional black polish we tend to choose during the winter months.
