Palmer's Natural Bronze Tanning Lotion, £2.67 & Palmer's Moisturising Body Oil £2.55 - Both from Boots.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo, £13, Boots
I've had quite an exciting day today, at least to me it feels as if it has been. After the gym, I took a quick de-tour into town to have a browse in Boots as I knew they had an offer on all Palmer's cocoa butter products.
After picking up another of my loyal Natural Bronzing lotions, I decided to opt for a body oil as well as my skin has been feeling pretty parched in these cold conditions. Although this oil isn't certified organic, Palmer's have now declared their products paraben free - which is a start. It contains a mixture of soya bean, sesame seed, safflower and cacao seed oils - all of which are rich in essential fatty acids, which are vital for healthy, radiant skin. The product has quite a light texture, that absorbs into the skin quickly - leaving it feeling velvety soft and smooth. Another plus point, is that due to its thin consistency, it doesn't leave a greasy film layer that gets all over clean clothes and bed sheets.
This next item I've been on a bit of a wild goose chase for. It's been sold out at every Boots store I've visited as well as online, so when I saw one lonely box waiting on the shelf ready to be taken home, I did not hesitate. La Roche Posay is a French dermatological skincare brand that is paraben free and 100% hypo allergenic.Their 'Effaclar' range is particularly good for oily/combination skin that is prone to break outs, as it contains salicylic acid - an ingredient which unclogs pores and purifies the complexion. It's still early days to give a full review on this product, so I will write another post in a few weeks.
